Ambitious ROAS with a lean team and fast-moving dealer pricing

Carwow’s performance marketing team needed to hit ambitious ROAS targets while managing complex data feeds across multiple markets. Campaign ops were lean, with two marketers building Meta campaigns, while leasing offers changed frequently.

Manual uploads slowed time-to-market and risked price mismatches. The team also wanted to move beyond static car-on-background creatives and test motion (video) without adding engineering overhead. In short: hit ROAS, cut manual work, keep prices accurate, and scale creative testing.

Carwow partnered with Hunch to supercharge its creative and data workflows, turning a single product feed into multiple testable data sets.

This allowed marketers to experiment with different leasing inputs, formats, and logics; no developers needed.

In Hunch AI Creative Studio, the team built dynamic catalog (DPA) templates for GYC that automatically refreshed whenever dealer prices or availability changed, eliminating manual uploads.

Visually, Carwow shifted from static images to dynamic motion, adding video-level variations that caught attention earlier in the funnel, while still driving lower-funnel results like offline chargeable inquiries.

Everything ran inside their existing Meta setup:

  • Advantage+ campaigns for TOFU (awareness)
  • Custom audience and retargeting for BOFU (conversion)

This setup gave the team creative flexibility without extra overhead and weekly reporting that tied directly back to ROAS targets.
